FACILITATORS

Emily

Emily (she/her) is an artist, climate-aware Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), Expressive Arts Therapist (ExAT), and certified Nature & Forest Therapy Guide. She is the founder of the Forest Bathing Club and is the Ontario Regional Co-Coordinator for the Climate Psychology Alliance of North America. Emily’s work in eco/climate psychology bridges public programs, corporate wellness, and clinical practice, supporting individuals and groups in navigating stress, anxiety, and climate grief through arts, body, and nature-based approaches.

Vanessa

Vanessa (she/her) is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), Expressive Arts Therapist, and yoga teacher who supports people in slowing down, reconnecting with themselves, and building emotional grounding through somatic awareness, mindfulness, and creative exploration. Her approach is down-to-earth, relational, and curiosity-driven, drawing inspiration from the ancient traditions of yoga, parts work, and the rhythms of the more-than-human world. Ultimately, Vanessa is a gentle, existential truth-seeker hoping to help others make sense of the human forms we inhabit.

Amália/Emily - “I am grateful to be able to live and work in Tkaronto. I  recognize this land to be the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat. I acknowledge that Tkaronto is covered by Treaty 13 and that while I am on this land I must know and live the Dish With One Spoon Wampum agreements to honour all beings that live in this land.
